If we find enough speakers, I would go for multiple tracks.

Dear all,
My best wishes for 1999.
Some people had discussion about next "Summer School", first to rename it as
"Smalltalk User conference", then to try to modify slightly the contents, to
have more experience reports.
We need your opinion before trying to set up the program. The principle is
easy : you need to answer back if you want to be heard.
The issue is about the budget, which was hardly balanced this year.
Would you allow experience reports, from people coming for free? Multiple
tracks?
How many "US speakers" (they are the most expensive of all) would you
recommend? If so, would you or your company sponsor the event?
Has any of you access to EEC help?
It is likely that we will go to Gent, in Belgium, the details and dates are
not set up yet.
Soon after, we will make a call for speakers.
Best regards, and thank you for your help. This association is yours.
