Dear member,

From August 30th until September 3rd 1999, The European Smalltalk User Group organizes 
its yearly Smalltalk User  Conference. This year the conference will take place at the 
University of Ghent (Belgium)

If you forgot to register for the 7th ESUG Users Conference 1999, then don't wait 
another minute and surf to http://www.esug.org/SummerSchools/summerschools.html 
or http://www.emn.fr/borne/ESUG/esug99.html. You just cannot call yourself a real 
Smalltalk professional if you haven't attended the ESUG User Conference. And since 
this year, ESUG has chosen Belgium as the host for its yearly conference, you don't 
have any excuse for not being there.

The conference will feature well known speakers such as Kent Beck, Joseph Pelrine 
and Erich Gamma (Gang of Four; Design Patterns), as well as technical experiences, 
demos, and product presentations from Smalltalk professionals all over the world.

This event is famous for its good informal atmosphere favoring exchanges between 
practitioners and its social events.
Gent is a nice historic city in the vicinity of Bruges, the Venice of the North 
(a group visit to Bruges is included in registration fee), as well as famous cities 
such as Antwerp and Brussels.
