We are happy to announce that the Belgian Smalltalk User Group (BSUG) has been incorporated as an official non profit organisation (ASBL/VZW). BSUG serves the interests of people involved in Smalltalk based development and/or the commercialisation of Smalltalk related products.

BSUG has been around since 1992, organizing regular meetings to support and inform its members.

The NEW BSUG has plans to improve its technical and promotional activities to make sure that the Smalltalk language gets the attention it deserves. For this we are looking for sponsors that will help us advance this promotion.

A sponsor of BSUG is entitled to a number of advantages:

  1. Your logo will be added to our stationary and your site will be pointed to by our webpages (the BSUG home page and the BSUG sponsors page). Of course you will be listed there as a sponsor too.
  2. We will distribute on our regular meetings any promotional material and software that you want to hand out for free.
  3. Once a year we will allocate at least half an hour of presentation time in a meeting where you can present Smalltalk related information. This will be announced as a commercial presentation.
  4. You are entitled to mention that you are a BSUG sponsor and show our BSUG logo in that context.
Sponsorship is valid for 1 year. For 2001, the fee for a sponsor company is set at 1000 Euro for a company with more than 5 employees, and 500 Euro for smaller companies.
